Arthur’s Nursery is a beloved, family-owned flower nursery and garden center located in the heart of Commack, NY. Since 1949, we’ve proudly served local Suffolk County communities—including Smithtown, Huntington, Kings Park, Dix Hills, and Northport—with high-quality plants, flowers, and expert gardening advice.

Founded by Arthur and Ann Auspaker during a time of rapid growth on Long Island, the nursery began as a small but passionate operation, providing vibrant flowers, hardy shrubs, and healthy plants to their Commack neighbors. When Arthur was called to serve in the Korean War, Ann kept the nursery thriving—laying the foundation for the care, quality, and community values that still define Arthur’s Nursery today.

Now in its 76th year, Arthur’s is run by Rick and Diane Auspaker, both lifelong residents of Commack. You’ll often find their three sons, Ken, Richie, and Michael helping out. We continue the tradition of growing everything from cuttings right here on site. With ten greenhouses and a wide variety of annuals, perennials, and seasonal plants available from May through July, we’ve become a go-to destination for both home gardeners and professional landscapers in Suffolk County.
